Comments: The individuals living at the home pretty much like to do their own thing; but there is a list of House Rules to follow (i.e.; scheduled eating times; expectation of preparing a meal 2-3 nights a week; completing at least one assigned chore each day). One spends a lot of his time listening to music from the 70's and 80's, plays guitar. They all have their own interests. This home is for individuals with Serious and Persistent Mental Illness (SPMI). The home is close to a grocery store and there is a gas station about a half a block away. The home has three bedrooms on the main floor and one on the lower level. There is a small kitchen/dining room area, living room, a family room, laundry room and another bathroom on the lower level. There are steps to get in either entrance of the house and to the lower level. Staff are trained on diabetes, mental health (borderline personality disorder, Schizophrenia, etc.), First aid, and CPR.

Comments: This handicapped accessible home has two living areas with two bedrooms down stairs and 2 upstairs. The home is located is located in a great neighborhood with a beautiful yard. The home also has a van with a lift. The individuals living at this home are fun people. One individual is in her late sixties and two of the gals are in their 20’s. Everyone enjoys dancing and going out for just about any activity. The ladies like to swim, bowl, participate in Special Olympics, going to fitness center and movies. One gal is semi-retired for two days a week and enjoys visiting, shopping, volunteering at ARC Thrift Store and cooking. They all love to go for walks and enjoy outside activities.
